  • Fireside Chat featuring Year Up Founder & CEO, Gerald Chertavian and presenting speaker, United Airlines CEO, Scott Kirby. Discussion will explore “The 3 C’s Challenge: Doing Business with Company, Community, and Country Impact,” inspiring attendees to raise their gaze and explore opportunities for collective impact and answering questions such as: What can leading companies do to challenge and change talent practices and drive long-term sustainable outcomes? Where can we see examples of strong holistic approaches to creating impact both internally and externally? Session will include Live Q&A where attendees will have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions.

    • Will offer senior leadership view of leading innovative programs for emerging talent, skill building in an integrated way; how management practices need to flex to support talent strategy explore shift to skills-first hiring and aligning skill development to in-demand role pathways. Addressing common challenges that inhibit emerging talent conversion.

  • Breakout Session B: “Emerging Talent Careers: Designing for Outcomes”

    • Hear wisdom and learnings from leaders of emerging talent programs at scale – pathways that lead to mobility; success factors, how to drive and sustain LOB engagement and successful outcomes. Specific programs on mentoring, training for success, and advocacy leadership.

  • “Catalyzing an Internal Movement to Scale Emerging Talent Strategies”

Hear from our speakers on how they think about customer-facing roles as a career gateway and the process of rethinking role perception, attracting great Opportunity talent and best practices to support them, and how to achieve sustainable outcomes for long-term success and team building.

    • Breakout B (Focus on Technology Roles): Will highlight key lessons learned from our speakers on what it takes to build tech skills, what tech roles are good career entry points for Opportunity Talent, how to scale in alignment with business needs, and how emerging talent programs work hand in hand with business priorities.
